69 reviews for Agile™ Model 40
Does the Agile™ Model 40 have a key override (backup)?
Yes, the Model 40 has a key override. The keyhole is located behind the “Agile” nameplate on the front of the door. Please note: It is a key override, intended to function as an access point in case your battery is dead or in any situation where the electronic lock is not functioning. The keys are unique and specific to the lock, so they should be stored in a safe place OUTSIDE of the safe. If you lose these keys, please contact support to purchase a replacement lock set with new keys.
Can you reposition the keypad on the Agile™ Model 40 door?
You can! During assembly, you can install the door on an Agile™ cabinet upside-down to change the location of the keypad and the direction that the door opens from. If you install the door upside-down, then you’d need to disconnect, flip, then reconnect the handle, keypad, logo, and nameplate to reorient them. This is simple and only requires a Philips-head screwdriver.
How does this redesigned keypad differ from the previous Agile™ keypad?
We’ve designed this new lock set with security, convenience, and fast access in mind. The new keypad features 6 large buttons with tactile references, a capacitive biometric fingerprint scanner, and a USB-C power port. The previous keypad could only register one access code of 6 digits, however the new keypad can register up to three access codes between 3 to 12 digits and up to 30 individual fingerprints. The new backlit keypad features sound cues, however you can disable sound or the backlight if desired.

Worthless trash dishonest hiding key facts. No where on the site does it say this is shipped in peices. The box came torn and damaged. The pieces are sitting on my floor useless. I cant pick them up and there is no box to return this trash in anyway. Garbage!! I could have baught a complete and functional safe for half as much.
Came together easily on my existing first gen agile 52. I was a bit skeptical with the new key pad and finger print sensor but they work better than expected. The finger print sensor has not failed me yet, unlike other storage devices I have had In the past (initials are “V.T.” ). I am now considering buying the new key pad for my old safe so it’s all uniform. I was able to assemble it on my old safe by myself with no help. It’s still doable.
I am a huge secure-it agile fan boy.
What would I improve? Little but the way the safe is installed against the wall could be better. Maybe have more screw holes so it’s easier to install into studs. An optional installation kit designed especifically for the agile would be ideal.
Now I need to get the new lock for my old agile safe so they match
Perfect size for shorter rifles – stacks on the 52.
This is my second Agile safe. The motor makes a terrible sound, like a small duck quacking, every time I unlock it. Customer service said this is normal. This will likely be my last SecureIt product.
